A 51-year-old man has died after a tree limb fell on him. Officials said Glenn Nunley, from Midland, was volunteering at a church on Buena Vista Road Saturday cutting down trees.
One of the limbs fell and struck him in the head. He was taken to the hospital and died early this morning.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said this is the fourth accidental tree limb death this year.
A woman died two weeks ago when a tree limb fell on her head while she was surveying storm damage. A man died earlier this year when a limb hit him in the head while cutting a tree for his mother on South Lumpkin Road. Another man was cutting trees about 10 feet off the ground when his security strap broke, killing him.
