RALEIGH, N.C. -

A 5-year-old boy who was shot in the foot outside a Raleigh sweepstakes parlor Sunday remains at WakeMed on Monday afternoon, Raleigh Police said.

The child was walking with two adult males in the 1800 block of Rock Quarry Road when he was shot in the foot.

The two men, Javon Tyrell Williams, 20, and Dejaun Bryant Pearsall, 30, were not injured, Raleigh Police said.

Police were called to the shooting on Rock Quarry Road near I-440 around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police have not said were the bullet originated.

Officers and detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation.
