John B. Melson awarded fourth Bronze Star

FORT BENNING, Ga. -

A Fort Benning noncommissioned officer will receive his fourth bronze star during a ceremony Friday.

Sgt. 1st Class John B. Melson will be recognized for his actions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while serving as a member of a 10-man tactical training team near Gerani, Afghanistan. 

The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. and will stream live here on WRBL.com.
