Top High School football plays from the week

Posted: Updated:

After the final week of scrimmages, we picked the best play from each game.

For the Brookstone and Hardaway game, it was a Miller Page pass and a Grant Davidson acrobatic catch that caught our eyes. Hardaway won the scrimmage by one point.

On Thursday, Central hosted Carver. Ryan Humphrie's 75 yard touchdown run wow 'ed the crowd. The Red Devils won the scrimmage 27-14.

Friday night, Dre Towns put Troup on the board against Auburn. His touchdown rush gave Troup the 7-3 lead. Auburn squeaked out a win 17-14.

And in a game that counted in the standings, Calvary's Adam Gray made a clutch pass to Andrew Walsh. It led to a touchdown. Calvary dropped a heartbreaker by one point.

Be sure to watch the PrepZone on Friday at 11pm EST with sports director Jonathan Huskey and sports anchor Dayne Young.
