Normally when you do a story about a shark you do a stand-up on the beach but not this time.  See these fishermen don't want to tell me where their fishing hole is.  It's not just to protect their spot

CARTER COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

One person is dead after a head-on collision occurred this morning on Highway 19E near Hampton in Carter County. According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, drugs and alcohol played a factor in the wreck.

THP confirms Danny Hopper, Mountain City, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes around the 4600 block of the highway at about 6 a.m. when his vehicle hit a tractor trailer head-on.

Troopers say Hopper died at the scene of the wreck. Investigators tell us the tractor trailer driver is okay.

Troopers also say they found an open container of beer inside of Hopper's car that was traveling in the wrong direction.

A THP report confirms Hopper had been drinking and had drugs in his system at the time of the wreck.

According to THP officials, the southbound lanes of Highway 19E are back open after they had been closed following the wreck.
