More than 70 industrial jobs coming to Troup County

HOGANSVILLE, Ga. -

The Georgia Department of Labor will be helping a Troup County automotive company fill more than 70 jobs during an open application event later this month. Mando America mass manufactures metal castings at their Hogansville plant.

The recruitment will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the company's plant, located at 955 Meriwether Park Dr. The company will be recruiting for a variety of positions, including finishing casting processing, melting and molding operators, quality technicians and inspectors, lab operators and technicians, inventory team leaders, stock clerks, and mobile equipment operators. Experience in heavy manufacturing is required.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They should bring a copy of their resume and be prepared to complete a company application.

In June, the company also made hires at its North America headquarters in Opelika.
