A Cary man has now been charged with second-degree murder in the June hit-and-run death of Natalie Chidlaw.

Raleigh police arrested and charged Adetoya Adekanmbi, 33, Monday. A warrant for his arrest stated that Adekanmbi "willfully and feloniously" killed Chidlaw.

Police said Adekanmbi hit Chidlaw and Meghan Clark, both 18 years old, at the intersection of Dixie Trail and Hillsborough Street near N.C. State in June. Chidlaw died at the scene.
