One arrested after drugs found in Mason Street home in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

At least one has been arrested after Columbus police searched a home Friday evening on a drug-related search warrant.

Officers with the Columbus Police Department's Special Operations unit searched the home on Mason Street after community complaints.

Officers arrested the individual for the possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

    An Amber Alert has been canceled after 2-year old Maliah Harris was found safe in Georgia. Her 7-month-old sibling, Alyssa, was found dead and Maliah disappeared from a Mississippi home which prompted authorities to issue the alert. The girls parents, Donald Boyd Harris,34, and Allison Studdard, 31, are now in custody.
