Soybean factory catches fire in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Firefighters in Raleigh responded to a small fire at a soybean plant Friday.

It happened around 9 p.m. at the Cargill factory near the intersection of S. Blount and Hoke Street.

Fire crews said a soy bean dryer caught on fire. No one was injured. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Crews said someone passing by saw smoke and called 911.

Crews said the damage is minimal.
