COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Hundreds of people came to Carver High School's auditorium Saturday afternoon to support the family of 15 year old Antwon Whitehead who died of an enlarged heart last weekend.

Family, friends and teammates paid their last respects to the young man at his funeral Saturday. He was a promising athlete and an honor roll student. His basketball coach Warren Beaulah shared his memory of Antwon.

"Antwon was probably the most respectful, intelligent young man that I ever had the opportunity to coach. He was fun loving, a big smile on his face, bubbly type of personality," said Beaulah.

Whitehead's aunt is trying to get "Antwon's Law" passed in Congress. The proposed law will make it a requirement for high school athletes to have EKG and other heart tests before they play sports.
