Police released the identity of a Fayetteville man killed in an explosion Saturday.
The Fayetteville Fire Department said emergency crews responded to an explosion call in the 6500 block of St. Louis Street off Bunce Road around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Fayetteville police said it appeared the victims were standing around a commercial outdoor fireplace, sometimes referred to as a chiminea.
One man, 28-year-old Martin Antoine Blossom, was killed in the explosion.
Three others, including a 14-year-old, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have determined the explosion to be accidental.
Family members say the man who fired the shots was not the same Andrew Jay Michaelis they knew.
