Veterans are getting some help finding their place in the workforce.

The Georgia Department of Labor will host a Job Readiness Kickoff Monday, September 23, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Columbus Technical College.

The program is designed to help the returning veterans in networking, interviewing, translating their military skill-sets to the civilian workforce, and how to successfully navigate a career expo.

Another program tailor-made for veterans is scheduled for October 17. The Paychecks for Patriots Career Expo will be held at Columbus State University.
