Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame announces Class of 2014

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame announced the members of its Class of 2014 Tuesday afternoon.

Five members make up the class, and they will be inducted Feb. 1, 2014 at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center in the annual "Induction Banquet."

In a news release, the Hall of Fame said "each of the gentlemen are very accomplished in their chosen field and worthy of recognition."

The Class of 2014:

B.R. Johnson, former CVCC baseball coach

Marc Upshaw, former Columbus High basketball standout

Jeremy Williams, former Kendrick quarterback and Greenville head coach

Cliff Rutledge, longtime high school sports broadcaster

Jim Mackay, Columbus College golf great, current caddy for Phil Mickelson

Jonathan Huskey
