Long known for staunch defense, the Alabama Crimson Tide racked up 568 yards of total offense in College Station, including 334 through the air.
Former Brookstone Cougar and current Tide tight end Brian Vogler said the offense had some fun on Saturday.
"It's always thrilling to have a game like that, coming down to the wire," Vogler said. "A shoot-out, really. You don't really see that too much in the SEC. It's a lot of fun, especially for us as an offense to be able to put up that much production and that many points."
Alabama practiced for two hours in pads Tuesday afternoon as they prepare for their home-opener against Colorado State on Saturday.
Nick Saban is working on a 20-game winning streak against non-conference opponents.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET Saturday night.
