POW/MIA "The Ride Home" at Georgia Southwestern State University

AMERICUS, Ga. -

Georgia Southwestern State University will honor POW/MIA recognition day by having a motorcycle and law enforcement escort for former POWs and MIA families. 

They will also host a service "Keeping the Promise, We Will Not Forget" Friday September 21st at 4:00pm. 

The event will take place in Convocation Hall on the university's campus at 800 Georgia Southwestern State University Drive Americus, Georgia 31709. 

Former POWs and 225 MIA families and guests will be at the ceremony.
