Auburn University to hold active shooter training

The Auburn University Department of Public Safety & Security will be holding an active shooter response training session on Monday, Sept. 30, from 5-7 p.m. at the Auburn Arena.

According to a news release, "The intended audience is students, but employees and others are also welcome. The training will provide information on preparing for emergencies, safety devices available on campus and a range of options for responding to an active shooter situation, including methods to secure and barricade doors to slow down an aggressor, evacuation considerations and how to counter an attack when you have no other options."
