"My Cry in the Dark" symposium to be held in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Local Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Delta Life Development Foundation Inc. and the Columbus GA Metro Black Nurses Inc. are hosting a symposium on Oct. 5.

It is called "My Cry in the Dark" and will focus on physical and mental health. Experts will talk about depression, anxiety, cyber-bullying domestic violence, teen dating violence and more.

Lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes available for participants.

The event is free and open to the public. Teens are encouraged to attend. It will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Delta Life Development Foundation, Inc., located at 4925 Forrest Road, Columbus, Georgia.
