Free workshop for veterans wanting to start a business

   A free workshop is coming to Opelika for veterans wanting to start a business.  It's scheduled for Tuesday, October 22.  It's being held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Event Center in downtown Opelika which is located at 614 North Railroad Avenue.  A free lunch will be provided.

   The workshop will provide veterans, spouses, Guard, reserve members, and survivors with the knowledge and resources to start and finance their veteran-owned small business.  It will include information about: formiong the correct legal structure, how to market your business, and special financing options for veterans and spouses.

   Veterans who are planning to start a business or grow an existing business are encouraged to attend.

   Thje Entrepreneur Small Business Workshop for Veterans is sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Veterans Business Outreach Center, and the National Leadership Congress.
