Gurley "day-to-day," status for Tennessee unknown

ATHENS, Ga. -

Georgia sophomore running back Todd Gurley has been classified as "day-to-day" by head coach Mark Richt.

Gurley sprained his left ankle early in the second quarter during the Bulldogs' 44-41 win over LSU last week.

"Todd, obviously, sprained his ankle, didn't finish the game," Richt said Tuesday. "We're listing him as day-to-day, and it's because we just don't know how long it's going to take. We'll just kind of take it one day at a time."

Gurley emerged from the locker room in street clothes and a walking boot after halftime Saturday.

With Gurley out, Keith Marshall led the Dawgs in rushing with 97 yards on 20 carries.

Georgia travels to Tennessee on Saturday.
