Plans are finalized for the second annual Bodda Getta Bash at Auburn University.
In a news release, the school announced the event will beheld on Friday, Oct. 11, beginning at 4 p.m. with the homecoming parade followed by a pep rally at 6:30 p.m. A concert featuring Gloriana and Eric Hutchinson will begin shortly after the pep rally.
"UPC and SGA are both incredibly excited and believe Auburn fans of all ages will have a blast at the event. Fans can expect to see an exhilarating pep rally followed by a phenomenal concert to spark the energy and spirit for the homecoming weekend," said Shannon Lalley, assistant director of major entertainment for the University Program Council.
The event is free and open to the public.
Bodda Getta Bash will include performances by the Auburn University marching band, Auburn University cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, AU Rhythm, Aubie and a guest speaker from the Auburn University Athletics Department.
Bodda getta is a cheer used during Auburn football games.
