CSU women's soccer team hosts "Kick for the Cure" game

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

   The Columbus State University women's soccer team will hold its fifth annual "Kick for the Cure" game on Saturday, October 5 against Young Harris.  The game is set for 3:00 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex.

   The goal of the event is to help raise even more awareness about breast cancer and at the same time raise funds for breast cancer research.

   The Lady Cougars will wear commemorative pink jerseys with white stripes.  The visitors will wear white jerseys with pink stripes.  The CSU jerseys will be auctioned off after the game.

   Admission to the event is free.  Donations will be accepted and given to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Center. 

   CSU is partnering with St. Francis Hospital and the Elena Diaz-Verson Amos Center for Breast Health to bring the community this special event.
