Auburn Community Children's Theatre presents "A Successor to the Throne"

The Auburn Area Community Children's Theatre will present "A Successor to the Throne" Oct. 17 – 19 and 21 at 6:30 p.m. and Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children, students, and seniors. Ticket reservations are available via the Auburn Area Community Theatre Ticket Office at 774-722-8849 or email aactreservations@gmail.com.

The production, a musical based on the Chinese fable of "The Empty Pot," tells the story of the Emperor who has no heir to the throne. The Emperor holds a competition among the children of his realm to select his successor. What tricks will the villagers try hoping to win this honor? Find out as "A Successor to the Throne" is told through song and dance.

The Auburn Area Community Theatre (AACT) strives to educate and enrich children through theatre. AACT's mission is to present quality, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatre experiences. The group seeks to serve the Auburn community by providing an avenue for artists and artisans to collaborate and create theatrical presentations and offer the community an opportunity for education and participation in the world of theatre.
