Weekend Warmth - WRBL

Weekend Warmth

Warm air will prevail along with sunshine to give the area a pleasant, sunny October weekend which will be ideal for the many outdoor activities taking place.

High pressure will extend its reach deep into the southern states, and while the air mass was fairly cool when it first moved in, several days of sunshine have served to heat it up.  Highs will likely reach the mid-80s each day through next Tuesday.  Humidity will remain seasonable for October.

By the middle of next week, a front is forecast to move in on us from the west.  Models are trying to slow this front, but it does look like it will bring a chance of showers beginning late Wednesday and into Thursday.  If the front does move through quickly enough, we'll see a drop in temperatures with cooler air filtering in behind.  This front will be our only opportunity for any rain in the next 5-7 days.
