City of Auburn Halloween festivities

AUBURN, Ala. -

Auburn citizens have two chances to trick-or-treat this Halloween.

People are invited to participate in door-to-door trick-or-treating on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. During this time, Auburn's Public Safety Department will provide extra patrols throughout the city. The event is for children 12 and under, who must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Auburn Parks and Recreation and the Auburn Downtown Merchants will also be partnering for the 13th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat from 6 - 8 p.m. on Halloween night. The free community event will feature candy, giveaways, live music and children's activities. Children 12 and under are invited to participate. They must be accompanied by an adult. Downtown streets will be closed during the event.
