On Wednesday, October 15, 2013 the Auburn Police Division arrested James L. McDonald, age 24 of Auburn, Alabama on felony warrants for Burglary Third Degree and Theft of Property Third Degree.

The arrest stems from an investigation of a police report dated the same day in which the victim reported that someone forcibly entered their residence, located in the 400 Block of Opelika Road.  The victim reported to police that an electronic item, valued at $300.00, was stolen during the burglary.

Responding Officers contacted James L. McDonald, still in the area,  and located property taken from the burglary in his possession.   He was placed under arrest and the victim's property was recovered.  McDonald was transported to the Lee County Jail where his bond was set at $4,000.
