The rain comes first then a cool change in the forecast

A cold front is lifting moisture ahead of it throughout the day on Thursday. We can expect to see a line of showers moving across the region from 3p.m. to 7p.m. Our northern counties will see anything from .1" to roughly .25" south of Columbus. We'll watch for more heating to our south and east for better chances for thunderstorms, which could produce a little more rain and wind. These areas, of course will see more sun than most who will experience more cloud cover. Behind this system, much cooler air will remain. The same system will see a disturbance track along the front adding more clouds and ramping up our chances for rainfall on Saturday. This front stalls to our south and east keeping more clouds around in the extended forecast.
