Tigers practice Wednesday, Marshall "back to normal"

AUBURN, Ala. -

Auburn practiced for about two hours Wednesday afternoon as they prepare for face no. 7 Texas A&M Saturday at Kyle Field in College Station, Tx.

"We had a solid practice tonight," said head coach Gus Malzahn. "We put emphasis on third downs and red zone."

The Tigers enter the game ranked no. 24 in the country in the AP poll, the first time they've been ranked since November of 2011. Much of that is thanks to the play of quarterback Nick Marshall, who will be back Saturday after missing the Western Carolina game with an injured knee.

"He had the week off, but at the same time, he had a very good game the week before," Malzahn said. "It's just a matter of building. You can tell he's more comfortable each week with everything within our system."

Saturday's game can be seen on News 3, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
