Posted: Updated:

St. Luke School in Columbus is raising money to plant a tree on school grounds in memory of Jeanne Bastrone.

According to the school's website, Bastrone passed away Tuesday, October 15th. She taught Spanish to grades 3rd-5th since 2011.

On Friday, October 18th the school is planning to yarn bomb a tree at the school at 11:30am on the corner of 11th and 3rd. The kids have been taught how to crochet and St. Luke has chosen Trees Columbus as this month's mission.
