The 7th annual "Creepy Wonderful Critters" program will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve.

Mike Wines, an Auburn University graduate student in herpetology on venomous snakes, will present the program. Participants will learn to recognize a venomous snake and what to do if bitten.

They will be able to look at and hold "creepy wonderful critters" including non-venomous snakes, lizards and insects.

Admission is $4 for non-members and $3 for members. Children three and under are free. The Kreher Preserve is located at 2222 N. College St. near the Fisheries.
