EUFAULA, Ala. -

A community meeting will be held in Eufaula Sun. Oct. 20 to talk about the recent officer-involved shooting that left a 26-year-old dead.

The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. CDT at Solid Rock Holiness Church.

State representatives and most pastors from the area will be in attendance. They're hope is to calm people in the community and are also welcoming questions. They hope to assure residents that the Alabama Bureau of Investigations is doing its job to investigate the case.

Cameron Massey, 26, of Columbus was killed Tuesday afternoon in a police-related shooting in the parking lot of the One Stop 431 Wrecker Service.

An event permit has been granted for a peaceful march against violence on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 1:00 central time.
