Coolest air since May - WRBL

Coolest air since May

Posted: Updated:

A clearing sky signifies a cold front moving through. This front will cool us off some, but not as much as the cold front scheduled to arrive late Thursday. That cold front will send temperatures tumbling into the upper 30s to low 40s Saturday morning. That means our first frost is possible in the traditionally cooler spots around the area. LaGrange may even flirt with the freezing mark if things set up perfectly.

This cool down won't last long as the jet stream retreats north for a few days. Our next chance of rain won't be until Wednesday at the earliest.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear. Lows near 51.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, cool, and breezy. North wind at 10-15 mph. Highs near 69.
