Columbus State University will host the Gregory P. Domin Graduate Research Conference on Thursday, October 24 at the CSU Cunningham Center.
The conference is set to begin at 7:30 a.m. and will run through 6:15 p.m. Registration will also open at 7:30 a.m. The public is invited.
The theme of this year's conference is "Tipping the Scales: Using a Cross-Disciplinary Approach to Solve Global Challenges." The theme asks participants to consider what challenges researchers face as a result of the ever-growing, rapid rise and global distribution of technology and its impact on culture and ideas.
The Greg P. Domin Conference was founded in 2011 by Greg Domin, a former CSU associate provost for graduate education, distance learning and international affairs. Domin died in April 2012. The conference was renamed in his memory.
