Auburn Police make arrest in car theft case

A 25-year-old man is behind bars after Auburn Police say he stole $2,700 worth of electronics from a car on Longleaf Drive.

Antonio Hutchinson is charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property first degree.

Police say the thefts happened on October 3rd in the 300 block of E. Longleaf Drive in Auburn. They say they have recovered the stolen items.

Hutchinson was taken to the Lee County Jail with a bond of $8,000.

Police say there may be more arrests.
