About a dozen former employees and regulars of a once-popular Myrtle Beach nightclub gathered Thursday night – one year after the club burned down.
A fire started at Time Out Nightclub, on the corner of Oak Street and 8th Avenue North, in the early hours of October 25th, 2012.
By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, flames had engulfed most of the second story.
The group gathered Thursday, led by the club's former emcee Tim McGee, to remember the good times.
"We just wanted to basically say this is it for Time Out, this is the one year, and the memories are there," McGee said. "Keep the memories alive, but move on and support all the other bars and other restaurants in the area."
Firefighters have still not released the cause of the fire.
The club's owner says he has no plans to reopen.
