Pumpkin carving taken to the next level

Posted: Updated:
A father in Virginia is elevating pumpkin carving to an art form, but he says anyone can do what he does.

Joel Dickover lives in Centreville, Virginia. He’s a government contractor by day, but each October he turns his kitchen into a pumpkin carving workshop.

“The more I do pumpkin carving the longer it takes, because I get to be a perfectionist,” said Joel Dickover.

Hundreds will come to his Virginia home to see all of his pumpkins on Halloween night.

“I’ve become known as like the pumpkin house. There's sort of a traffic jam out front and people love it."

He also shares his work online. He even posts trade secrets and shows you how to create your own epic pumpkin carving.
