Little boy jumps on stage with Pope Francis

VATICAN CITY -

Thousands of Catholic families from around the world gathered at the Vatican over the weekend to celebrate the Year of Faith with Pope Francis.  That’s where an unexpected thing happened.

A little boy wandered onto the stage just to hang out with Pope Francis.  The boy named Carlos, jumped on stage and gave the Pope a hug.  A security guard gave him candy as a bribe to get him offstage but Carlos stayed, even sitting in the Pope's chair while he spoke.

The Pope took it all in stride and didn’t miss a beat.
