RALEIGH, N.C. -

A Georgia woman has been indicted on a murder charge in the 2001 beating death of a 91-year-old woman from Raleigh.

A Wake County grand jury on Monday indicted 53-year-old Cathy Lynne Lentini on a murder charge in the death of Beulah Dickerson.

Dickerson was found dead in a bedroom of her Raleigh home in October 2001. Authorities said she had been beaten.

Lentini was arrested Oct. 22. Authorities say the Cartersville, Ga., woman used to live near Dickerson, but police have not spelled out what led to the arrest.

A judge has denied bond for Lentini. During an initial court appearance after Lentini's arrest, a public defender appointed for her said his client was tired and concerned about the charges.
