COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for help identifying a man who may have been involved with the sexual abuse of a child.

The man, tentatively known as John Doe 27, is likely between the ages of 40 and 50, with brown hair, graying sideburns and a bald spot on the back of his head.

He wears glasses and a ring on the ring finger of his right hand.

Investigators say he speaks with a southern accent and refers to himself as "Jimmy."

The FBI says a plaid chair may help them solve the case.

Anyone with information or who may know who the man is is asked to call your local FBI office.
