GREENVILLE, N.C. - One of 9 On Your Side's "Most Wanted" has been captured after a manhunt in Greenville.

Authorities tell 9 On Your Side a man driving a stolen Honda Civic crashed into another car on B's Barbeque Rd near Reba Ln. Authorities say they believe the man had been drinking, and ran from the scene.

9 On Your Side talked to one of the hit and run victims who was on her way home when Wrighton slammed into her truck.

"All I saw in my rear view mirror was these headlights just flying up behind me. I had to brace myself for the impact. My whole body was shaking, I couldn't even stand." said the woman, who didn't want to be identified.

Authorities have now identified that man as Demetrius Wrighton, 34, of Farmville.

Minutes later, authorities say Wrighton stole a car from the nearby Golden Living Center.

K-9 Units tracked Wrighton down in nearby woods and bit him in the leg.

Highway Patrol, The Pitt County Sheriff's Office, Vidant Police and the Red Oak Fire Department.

Wrighton will face numerous charges. He already had five warrants out for his arrest.

Wrighton was one of 9 On Your Side's featured "Most Wanted" during our first phone bank in November.

Wrighton is being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under $402,204.77 bond.
