Auburn Youth Football Association to Host 2013 Shugar Bowl

Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn Youth Football Association will host the 2013 Shugar Bowl on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Duck Samford Football Stadium. The Shugar Bowl is the Auburn Youth Football Association's League Championship and began in 1974 to honor legendary AU Coach Ralph "Shug" Jordan. Admission is $3 for adults and free for children 12 and under. The public is invited to attend.

 

The SEC Championship game (ages 8 & 9) will feature the Auburn Pediatric Dentistry Aggies (8 - 0) vs. the Auburn Reprographics & Supply Commodores (6 - 2) kicking off at 5:30 p.m. The NFL Championship game (ages 10 - 12) featuring the Play It Again Sports Ravens (5 - 4) vs. the Speaks Land Company Saints (8 - 1) will kick off at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to park behind Duck Samford Football Stadium off Glenn Avenue. The lower parking lot off East University Drive will be closed. All seating will be on the home side of the stadium.
