COLUMBUS, Ga. -

The TriCities and Columbus area Family and Marriage Education (FAME) Group are hosting the inaugural "Married & Proud of It! Youth Film Festival."

The event is open to all middle school, high school and college students in the surrounding areas.

The films can be documentaries, comedies or dramas, but cannot be more than a year old. The work must be directed/produced by middle school, high school or college students. Adult supervision must be limited to an advisory capacity only.

Films should be submitted on a DVD (three copies), clearly marked with submitter's name, title of production, entry fee and a completed submission form. It is required that parents sign for students under 18 years of age. Everything must be received by Fri. Jan. 17, 2014.
