First three female Marines graduate infantry training

Three woman graduated Thursday from the Marine's enlisted infantry course.

Julia Carroll, Christina Fuentes Montenegro and Katie Gorz are the first entry-level enlisted women to complete infantry training.

It's part of the Marine Corps' effort to integrate women into ground-combat assignments, which previously were only for men.

The three women a volunteered to enroll in the course.
