From mortgage insurance premiums to teachers' classroom expenses, don't miss out on these tax breaks that are expected to disappear at the end of 2013.
According to U.S. News and World Report, here are a few of them:
Remodeling your home for energy efficiency, electric vehicles....state and local sales tax, IRA distributions to charity, mortgage insurance premiums, exclusion of cancellation of indebtedness on principal residence, transit benefits... and teachers' classroom expense deduction.
Many of these tax breaks have been extended in the past, so it's possible congress could extend them again over the next few months.
