Tide cruises to Senior Day win

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -

Alabama cruised to a 49-0 win over Chattanooga on senior day at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

AJ McCarron completed 13 of 16 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns, including one pass for three yards to his brother Corey, Corey's first reception of his Alabama career.

"That little boot pass was a pretty sure thing where you knew he was going to have a chance to be open, so I think they were pretty excited about it," Nick Saban said after the game. "Of course, AJ got on him because he didn't make a better run after the catch, but I was kind of happy to see it."

Alabama led 7-0 after one quarter, then reeled off 21 points in the second. Kenyan Drake led all rushers with 77 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Derrick Henry added 66 yards and another score.

With the win, Alabama moves to 11-0 on the year, and sets up a potential top-five matchup with Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 30. Winner claims the SEC West championship.
