The Consumer Products Safety Commission has recall two versions of the AngelCare Deluxe Movement and Sound Monitor after two deaths were reported due to strangulation hazard.

Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Recall Summary

Angelcare Movement and Sound Baby Monitors

Hazard:

The cord attached to the baby monitor's sensor pad is placed under the crib mattress, which poses a strangulation risk if the child pulls the cord into the crib and it becomes wrapped around the neck.
