Columbus State won their fifth straight game at West Georgia 66-65, giving them a 3-0 record on the season. The close contest went into overtime after CSU had an advantage for the majority of the day but it came down to the buzzer. The UWG Wolves are 0-3 with all losses coming to Peach Belt Conference teams.

Bradford, who is averaging 26.0 points per game, led the Lady Cougars with a career-high 35 points. Carrie Washington had a double-double of 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. Alexander tied her career-high with 14 boards.

West Georgia scoring was led by Seandre Lee with 14 and Ashley Prather was the top rebounder with 14 boards. The Wolves amassed 20 turnovers while CSU had just 13.

The Lady Cougars play November 30 at Fort Valley State University and at Albany State University on December 1, in the Peach Belt Conference/Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Crossover Tournament hosted by Albany State. Columbus State returns home on Saturday, Dec. 7 to host Selma University at 1:30 p.m.
