FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

A Robeson County woman wanted for questioning in a shooting last week turned herself in to authorities Sunday night.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office was searching for Tiffany Prince Bethea, 34, following a domestic dispute.

On Nov. 22, authorities said Bethea forced her way into the home of Taneshia Robinson on Earp Court around 6:30 a.m.

Robinson woke up and saw Bethea standing over her boyfriend, 17-year-old Da'Jore Williams, and pointing a handgun at him. Bethea screamed profanities and pointed the gun at Williams head and fired a single gunshot.

Williams was taken to Cape Fear Valley medical Center, where he underwent brain surgery and is in critical condition.

Bethea is charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and first-degree burglary. She is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $500,000.

Bethea and Robinson described their relationship to authorities as "intimate partners."
