Columbus State University Division unveils new website

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

Columbus State University's Continuing Education Division invites virtual visitors to explore its new website.

The division makes use of the site as its primary method of communicating up-to-date information to visitors seeking opportunities for lifelong learning, professional advancement and more. With a bright, dynamic design and integrated links for social media, information to assist in expanding professional and personal pursuits is now easier to locate and utilize.  In addition to the new design, a number of upgrades have been made including a responsive layout that allows for viewing from multiple devices, such as mobile phones and tables; the ability to translate pages into more than 70 languages; and a streamlined search capability for easier identification of information on classes, instructors and more. Easy to locate links connect directly to venue and facility rental information for the Rankin Gardens and Atrium, Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center and University Hall. Frequently visited online areas, such as courses, certificates and community programs, are now individual categories with specific sections that provide more timely information and improved detail.

 While exploring the site, visitors are encouraged to utilize the home page links to social media and automatically "join our conversations" on popular platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+. Future content will include guest blogs, informational videos and white papers – all with continuing education lifelong learners in mind.
