It's "case closed" for a Metro Police officer who was fired from the force last year.
Gregory Capers was booked, put on probation and ordered to undergo anger management after Monday's ruling by a Chatham County Court.
The former sergeant was let go last July after a Savannah woman claimed he came into her home, choked her, grabbed and bruised her face.
She also had bruises and scratches from a violent domestic encounter with Capers months earlier.
He was later charged with two counts of Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
