Fans react after Auburn's Iron Bowl win

Posted: Updated:

It was pure pandemonium on and off the field after Auburn clinched an impressive victory over Number 1 ranked Alabama. After losing the last two Iron Bowls, in an unexpected field goal return with one second left, the Tiger ran to victory. Auburn fans took to the streets after the game and in true fashion rolled Toomer's Corner in celebration. Fans had a lot to say about the win.

"In Gus we trust. The game was never in doubt. In Gus we trust," said Tommy Pinkard.

"What was going through your mind when he started running down that field," asked reporter Naomi Keitt? "I said there's no way he'll score. But you know it was just unbelievable," replied Auburn Mayor Bill Ham.

"We beat God's team," exclaimed an Auburn fan.

"I had a bet with my uncle on the first game of the year. I said you know we're going to go to Pasadena. He said if we go to Pasadena, I'll pay for your whole trip. So we're one game away," said Wells Summers.

The team will be heading to Atlanta next Saturday to play for the SEC championship.
